5 on Friday

I forgot to show you one of my official photos from the Color Me Rad Run :)
I did not think it was too bad, I have had worse taken of me.

It is a rainy, dreary day here in Upstate NY. I am hoping it clears up tonight. I have my first 5k of October tomorrow morning and I would rather do it in nice weather. I am looking forward to this 5k because it is the first timed one I have done this year. I timed the other two on my own, but I like when there is an "official time."

I am on day 4 of #Aquatober. I am hoping that my headache will go away soon. I realized I was an addict of Crystal Light packets - specifically the strawberry energy ones. I think the headaches are from the lack of caffeine. I did not realize I was addicted until the headaches started. I am glad I am doing this #Aquatober challenge. I need to drink more water. I will admit to have a Mike's Hard Lemonade last night. I felt like I needed something other than water and Tim had already opened it thinking I wanted one. I told him not to let me have anymore for the rest of the month.

I am not a fan of this teething thing! We have bee very lucky with Mason at night. He is fussy and it is tough, but he still goes to bed around 9 and sleeps until I wake him up at 7.
I am just not a fan of the crying when it hurts and we cannot do anything to soothe him. We have been using baby Orajel, Tylenol, and the frozen pacifiers/chewies. All of those seem to help, but there are times that nothing helps.
Hopefully the ones that are coming in come in soon and we get the normal Mason back.

  1. Try using the gogurt packs frozen. They can get them all the way back to the molars and it helps soothe them, plus it is yogurt and they love it! I just snip off a small corner and let him go to town!

  3. I had to give in and have a tea this morning. I just couldn't wake up!!! But it's back to water for the rest of the day

  4. I don't THINK I drink a lot of other stuff, mainly water and milk, but I do enjoy S/F fruit punch. I water it down quite a bit, just a splash of the punch diluted with water. If one of the kids or hubby ever sneaks a drink from my glass they always comment that it's mostly water ... and yet I'd have a hard time giving it up to participate in such a challenge!
