Today is the 12th Anniversary of 9/11. I am amazed that this one event will always be engraved in our mind. We will know where we were, what we were doing, how we felt, and we will remember the confusion we had.
Last year during our trip to Washington D.C. we had a chance to go to the memorial at the Pentagon. The memorial there is nice, it is a unique way of honoring the victims. It was also emotional. I would highly recommend if you have a chance in your lifetime to go visit one of the 9-11 museums.
My heart goes out to the family and friends of the 343 Firefighters lost on 9-11, I cannot even imagine what today must be like for them.
Do you remember where you were?
I was in 8th grade history class - we were not told much in school so when I got home I sat in front of the television watching the news.
