How do I know the day will be a good one? When this lil guy smiles at me first thing.
When I picked him up from daycare yesterday they said he was fussy all day and had short naps. He looked so tired when I picked him up. He fell asleep in the car and slept until after five, so he got a good hour nap before dinner. While he was napping I got a GREAT walk. I did an 8% incline at 3.4 mph and I lasted an hour! I was watching The Biggest Loser and I told my self I had to be walking while watching for the 70 minutes (I fast forward through some of the weigh ins). I did a 10 minutes cool down walk at 2.4 mph, I don't usually but I felt my calves burning so I figured I should ease them into stopping.
Before dinner I went to get my pajamas on and laid Mason on the bed. Tim came in and got him pajamas on and got in bed with him, so Nutmeg needed to get on the bed too. Mason loves petting Nutmeg, he just stares at her in awe most of the time.
I love my little family. The only person missing is the cat.
Mason had sweet potatoes for the first time last night and he seemed to enjoy them. He ate all of his potatoes and then a couple ounces of formula. He did not have much to eat last night, but he seemed content. He fell asleep in Tim's arms around eight and I could not get him to wake up at ten to have a bottle to fill him up.
He woke up at 3:30 this morning for some food, but I did not mind. At least he got a good long period of sleep. Though him waking up that earlier made me lazy when my alarm went off at 5:30. I did not get up until 6:30. No walk for me today. I have to work until 8 pm.

I did manage to get my nails done this morning before we got busy at work
It is New York Color - Quick Dry Polish in Mulberry Street. I like this color for this time of year. I like the brand too because it is not too expensive and I don't really notice a difference.
Do you use certain colors of polish depending on what time of year it is?

I actually have a similar nail color on! (great minds think alike)
ReplyDeleteMy go-to is a deep red or bright red. It makes me feel girly. I was extremely drawn to grays and deep purples in the fall. I definitely change up my polish depending on the season!
Your photos of your family are super precious!
Have a wonderful day.
He's so cute and has a great mix of both you and him!! So precious. Great workout girlfriend!
