Mason's Baptism

This morning was rough. I got up at 5:30 determined to get in a walk before work, but it did not happen. I got my workout clothes on and decided I was not feeling it. I crawled back into bed and slept for another 45 minutes. I will have to get the walk in tonight now, but that is fine it just means I will get to watch last night's Biggest Loser all at once.

Well it finally happened, Mason was baptized. I wish I had not procrastinated with this and done more, but it is what it is. I would have liked to invite more people, but after procrastinating for months I ended up doing it last minute to get it done sooner rather than later.
There are not that many pictures because I did not show Michelle how to use my camera. I really need to get a new point and shoot to bring place like this and use my DSLR for personal use.

Us with Mason's Godparents - Michael & Christina - they may look familiar, Michael was Tim's best man and Christina was my maid of honor. Notice the spot on Tim's shirt? That would be from the oil that was put on Mason's head. I have put some Dawn and cold water on it, but I have never had much luck with grease stains.

Before we left for the church I had Tim take a couple pictures of Mason and I while he was content and happy.

Getting Mason baptized was very important to Tim and I. We are both baptized and feel that it should be done when children are young. We will be raising Mason as a Catholic. I am not Catholic, but Tim's family is and they attend church regularly.
