Monday Weigh In

Today is a new day. Today starts a new week. Today I am wiping the slate clean & starting over.

I knew before I even stepped on the scale it was going to be bad. I put on a pair of jeans yesterday that fit great a couple weeks ago, but are now too tight. I could not believe how I had slipped in the last two weeks.  I felt awful about myself all night, if I had not had something to go to I would have slipped into sweats and stayed home on the couch.
My new starting weight is...
I spoke with Tim on the way home and decided that I was going to get going. I told him that if I am not up in the morning when he leaves to encourage me to get up and get a workout in before Mason wakes up. I asked him to make sure I email him my weight every Monday. I also asked him to start nit picking what I am eating. It really does help when I know someone is watching me and what I eat.
***************
I am determined.
I can do this.
I started the week of on the right foot! I got up at 5:15, did my reps for the Close Out Challenge plus a couple more exercises, then I moved to the treadmill and walked 2 miles at 3.3 mph & a 7.5% incline. I weighed myself and got in the shower. I was ready for work and still not a peep from Mason.
I did not want to wake him up, but it was time for me to get him ready for daycare. I got him diaper off before he started to stir and open his eyes. I got him dressed, we looked in the mirror (per our morning routine), and he went in his car seat. He was back sleeping by the time we got to daycare. I think he is going to be like his parents and not like the mornings.
I am also doing well with my Elf for Health challenge of the day. Today's challenge is to drink your body weight in ounces of water. I have drank 72 ounces so far, I need to get in 134 more ounces. I am going to live in the bathroom later.

How much water do you drink in a day?
