*New* - Scavenger Hunt Sunday

I saw Scavenger Hunt Sunday on a blog I follow and wanted to learn more. I went to Ashley Sisk's blog, the founder, and after reading about it decided to give it a try :) I did get my new camera for Christmas and have been using it like crazy, but these tasks will help me develope me skill... hopefully.
Here is a little explanation about Scavenger Hunt Sunday....
Scavenger Hunt Sunday - Source
(From Ashleysisk.com) The rules are simple:
  1. Anyone can participate.
  2. You're encouraged to take five new photos this week for the challenge. Creativity is also encouraged!
  3. If you get stumped, you may use one photo from your archive (although I'm not too strict about it - I do my best to take fresh shots).
  4. Link up here on Sunday (or Tuesday at the latest) - you can use the button above.
  5. Leave comments for at least five entries around yours (we have so many new participants each week, this is the only way I know to be inclusive).
  6. Have fun!
1. Travel
We do not travel much, we went to Tim's parent's last Sunday and brought Nutters. She loves riding and most of the time has her head stuck out the window. I thought she looked like a person sitting in the seat where she was supposed to just looking out the window.
2. Silly
Tim decided that someone could use the Snug-A-Bunny swing while it was waiting for the baby to be in it. Silly husband :)
3. Black & White
Nutmeg was being lazy and I decided to see if she would let me get a photo of her. I got a few because she was not moving.
4. Spots
I found this blanket while cleaning the nursery and decided it would make a great item for my "spots" photo. There are a few with spots all over them, but this one is my favorite with the bright colors and summer feel to it.
5. Paper
This was a card I received at my baby shower a few weeks ago and I loved it. I could not throw it away or put it in a box to never be seen again, so I framed it and put it in the nursery.

I liked this activity :) I wrote the 5 words in my planner and just kept looking at them all week. This made me get my camera out and take photos, it gave me an excuse to use my photoshop program too. I am hoping that I will start using it more.

  1. Hi!
Great snapshots! Love the paper, beautiful! Have a great day!

    Food for Thought

  2. I enjoyed your baby themed photos in this link. Congrations that you'll have a short person to photo one day soon. I love your pet friend's stoic posture in the first picture. HA! Thanks for linking.

  3. I'm so glad you decided to do SHS! I loved all the pics of Nutmeg, and the card you framed is absolutely precious. I love that you decided to use it for decoration!

  4. Ashlee you got some great photos...especially of your cute dog! That card is precious! Congrats on you pregnancy...I can see you are close to your due date. My daughter had her first baby a year ago April and it is so amazing!

  5. Looks like you're getting all ready for baby. We're due pretty close to one another - I wonder if we'll be in L&D at the same time?!
