What a Weekend!

Friday night was so much fun! I was excited to see the Jersey Boys show and ride in a new car :) I know it sounds corny, but I love new cars and if I could afford one I would definitely choose a Honda Pilot. They are pretty nice and the ride is smooth. Oh I can only hope to win the lottery... hehe

We had dinner at The Blue Ribbon Diner in Schenectady on State St/Central Ave. I enjoyed the food, the only problem was I thought the menu had too many choices. It is hard to make a decision when there are so many options. I had a delicious Chicken Sandwich and then I could not help myself... I had a piece of Coconut Cream Pie. My absolute favorite pie and they had it right as you walk in the door in a display case calling my name...

When dinner was finished the six of us ladies made our way to Proctor's Theater. This was my second time going to this theater and I really like it. I love the architecture on the inside and the way the stage and audience is set up. We had Orchestra seats for this show and it was a good location. For the Lion King last year we sat in the balcony and we could see everything. There really does not seem to be a bad seat in that place.

The show was great. It was the story of the Four Season in the 60s and 70s. The music was good and the story was full of drama and comedy. It was an overall good show and I can see why Tim's aunt wanted to take us all to see it. She saw it in NYC on Broadway and loved it.

****************
Sunday was a beautiful day! I could not believe it was in the 70s all day and the sun was shining. I had to work until 4pm, but I still got to enjoy three hours of sunlight. This time change is great after you get used to losing that hour of sleep. We went to Tim's parents' house for dinner. Tim asked his mom on Saturday if she would make Ham and Cabbage and she said yes. I love ham, I do not eat it that often, so this was a treat. I am not a fan of cabbage so I had ham, potatoes, and carrots. It was delicious. Before dinner we went outside and played with the dogs.
On our way to dinner.. this was the rare time in the ride she was inside the truck... she loves sticking her head out the window
Bailey waiting for the ball
And I got to see some interesting birds... they were circling the area...

I feel like I may be forgetting something... Hmmm because I am. I never mentioned Saturday... I will have to do another blog entry for that one... Stay Tuned.
